I am a spicy meals fanatic, so I am fortunate to have met and married a Calabrian girl. Whereas most Italian meals is not identified for its kick, Calabrian delicacies is (nearly obsessively) centered on considered one of its most prized merchandise: spicy peperoncini.
This week, Eva prepares me a full-course spicy meal: from antipasto to dessert. The one query is… can I deal with the warmth?

SPICY SARDINE BRUSCHETTA RECIPE
This recipe is so easy, it hardly wants a full weblog publish! Merely marinate sardine fillets (finest when preserved below salt, not in oil) in sufficient olive oil to cowl, plus 1 clove chopped garlic, powdered peperoncino (or cayenne) to style, and a pinch of contemporary oregano. Marinate not less than one hour or as much as a day. Serve on a bit of toasted bread with slightly additional peperoncino (optionally available).
